Gandhinagar: Delhi Public School (DPS) Gandhinagar celebrated academic excellence, perseverance and holistic development at its Annual Award Ceremony, “Prerna: A Never-Ending Saga,” honouring outstanding students from Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary for the 2025–26 academic session.
Inspired by the words of former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the ceremony highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing future-ready students through academic achievement, character development and service-oriented values.
Following its motto, “Service Before Self,” the school recognised students for outstanding academic performance, excellence in co-curricular activities (CCA) and 100% attendance, celebrating dedication, discipline and all-round development.
DPS Gandhinagar also celebrated its strong CBSE Board Examination results for 2025–26. Class X recorded a school average of 85.78%, while Class XII achieved an average of 82.60%, reflecting the collective efforts of students, teachers and parents.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guests, Ms. Shikha Choudhary, Founder of Cyber Commando and Dr. Meva Ram Ola, Joint Commissioner, IRS, in the presence of Principal Ms. Anju Singh and Headmaster Mr. Rakesh Kumar Bhagat. The dignitaries inspired students to dream big, embrace challenges with confidence, and pursue excellence with dedication and integrity.
One of the highlights of the event was “Pehchan,” an audiovisual presentation showcasing the creativity and inspiring journeys of students from Saaransh. The presentation celebrated inclusion, individuality and self-expression, reinforcing the school’s commitment to an inclusive learning environment.
Students from different grades also presented colourful cultural performances that reflected confidence, creativity and teamwork. Parents, teachers and guests applauded as award winners were felicitated, making the ceremony a memorable celebration of achievement.
The school leadership reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing responsible citizens who excel in academics while upholding values, leadership and community service.
More than an awards function, “Prerna: A Never-Ending Saga” celebrated aspiration, resilience and the limitless potential of every learner, concluding with an inspiring message for students to continue their journey with purpose while living the spirit of “Service Before Self.”
