Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Airlines has reinforced its position as Asia Pacific’s leading sports partnership airline with the launch of a new global fan engagement campaign in collaboration with Manchester United. As the Official Commercial Airline Partner of Manchester United, the airline is leveraging its partnership to deliver immersive, real-world matchday experiences for football fans worldwide.

At the heart of the campaign is a global brand film titled “Proud Supporters of Supporters,” narrated by former Manchester United captain Gary Neville. The film captures the emotional connection between football and travel, highlighting how shared passion unites fans across borders.

Campaign Highlights: Turning Passion into Experience

Running until 10 April 2026, the campaign invites travellers who book via Malaysia Airlines’ website or mobile app — and are members of its Enrich loyalty programme — to participate in a unique contest.

Five winners, along with their companions, will receive:

  • Return flights to London Heathrow
  • Match tickets to watch Manchester United vs Brentford live
  • A three-day, two-night stay in Manchester

The match is scheduled for 27 April 2026 at Old Trafford — famously known as the “Theatre of Dreams.”

This initiative underscores Malaysia Airlines’ broader strategy of leveraging high-impact sports partnerships to enhance brand engagement.
