Surat: In a notable blend of wellness and diplomacy, meditation sessions organised during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) South Gujarat 2026 at Auro University have drawn participation from over 200 attendees, including international delegates.
Delegates from the Embassy of Ukraine in India, including Ambassador Oleksandr Polishchuk, attended the session on the opening day, underscoring the growing integration of wellness-led initiatives within global engagement platforms. The delegation also included Kateryna Bila and Consul General Anna Zaichenko.
The sessions, conducted by the Sri Aurobindo Integral Life Center, are being held in multiple batches from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and are open to all conference visitors. Designed to promote mindfulness and mental well-being, the programme includes guided meditation experiences at the Dhyanshala and the Sensorium, a sound-based immersive environment.
According to organisers, the initiative has witnessed strong traction from a cross-section of participants, including foreign delegates, senior government officials, and personnel from the state police department. The sessions are scheduled to continue through May 5, allowing wider participation during the conference.
The inclusion of wellness-driven activities within VGRC reflects a broader trend of integrating holistic experiences into large-scale economic and diplomatic forums, enhancing both engagement and experiential value for attendees.
