Ahmedabad: ShemarooMe has premiered Jindagi Once More, a heartfelt Gujarati family drama starring veteran actor Siddharth Randeria in the lead role. The film begins streaming exclusively on ShemarooMe from September 17, 2026.
Marking Dharma Productions’ first venture into Gujarati cinema, Jindagi Once More explores the themes of second chances, family bonds, unspoken emotions and the importance of understanding the people closest to us. Produced by Vaartakaar Films, with Vasuu Dholakia as producer, the film marks a significant milestone with Dharma Productions coming on board as presenter and distributor for its first Gujarati-language cinematic venture.
At the centre of the story is a father who has spent his life putting his family first while keeping his own emotions and aspirations largely unspoken. Through his son’s journey of discovering his father’s past, the film explores the person behind the familiar role of a parent and the experiences, friendships and dreams that may remain hidden across generations. Siddharth Randeria plays the father, bringing to the screen a character defined by quiet strength and emotions that remain largely beneath the surface.
Speaking about his role, Siddharth Randeria said, “Playing a father who carries so much within him and shows so little of it was a deeply moving experience. Fathers are often seen as the strong, silent ones in a family, but rarely do we get to see what that silence is hiding. Jindagi Once More gave me the chance to portray that quiet strength, and I hope it makes audiences look at their own fathers with a little more warmth and understanding.”
Deep Dholakia portrays Shekhar, the son whose journey becomes central to the film’s emotional narrative. Shekhar gradually discovers a side of his father that he had never known, leading him to look at his relationship with his father from a new perspective.
Sharing his thoughts on the film, Deep Dholakia said, “Understanding our parents is never easy. A mother can often express her feelings openly, but fathers rarely show their emotions and always try to remain strong. This film explores that side of a father and the life he has lived beyond being a parent.”
He added that the story was inspired by his own father and that portraying Shekhar also changed the way he viewed his relationship with his father. According to Dholakia, the character’s journey is ultimately about discovering the person and the hero behind the role of a father.
Jindagi Once More was released theatrically on June 19, 2026, and now reaches audiences digitally through ShemarooMe. With its focus on family, relationships, fatherhood and second chances, the film offers an intimate story about taking time to understand the people who matter most. As a platform known for its Gujarati entertainment offerings, ShemarooMe adds Jindagi Once More to its catalogue of regional stories that connect with audiences through relatable emotions and family-centric narratives. Jindagi Once More is now streaming exclusively on ShemarooMe from September 17, 2026.
