This year’s theme is ‘Indian Air Force – Infallible, Impervious and Precise’; IAF Chief highlights transformation into a network-centric, multi-domain force
New Delhi : The Indian Air Force (IAF) will celebrate its 94th Air Force Day on October 8, marking more than nine decades of its evolution and operational journey. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Indian Air Force – Infallible, Impervious and Precise’.
Reflecting on the IAF’s transformation over the past 94 years, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said that the force has evolved from a modest beginning with just four Wapiti aircraft into a network-centric force capable of operating across multiple domains and across the spectrum.
The journey reflects the Indian Air Force’s evolution in terms of operational capabilities, technology, platforms and integrated warfare. From its early years, the IAF has expanded into a force designed to operate in increasingly complex and multi-domain environments.
The 94th Air Force Day will highlight the IAF’s continuing focus on operational preparedness, technological advancement and precision, while commemorating the service and contribution of its personnel over the decades.
