New Delhi : Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS), addressed a press conference to brief the media on Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026, the multinational air exercise hosted by the Indian Air Force. During the interaction, Air Marshal Dixit provided an overview of the conduct and scale of the exercise, along with details regarding the participation of Friendly Foreign Air Forces (FFAFs).
The Vice Chief also briefed the media on the exercise’s operational canvas and major events planned as part of Tarang Shakti 2026. The interaction highlighted the multinational character of the exercise and provided an overview of its scale, objectives and operational dimensions.
Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 brings together participating air forces in a multinational training environment, providing an opportunity for forces to operate together and exchange operational experiences.
The exercise reflects the Indian Air Force’s engagement with partner air forces through joint training, operational interaction and professional exchanges, while providing participating forces an opportunity to enhance interoperability and understand different operational approaches.
