12-member team to cover 1,250 km across Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur before culminating in New Delhi
Vadodara: A motorcycle expedition titled “Ride with Pride – EME Towards Technological Transformation” was flagged off from EME School, Vadodara, on October 5, 2026. The expedition was flagged off by Maj Gen Mohit Gandhi, Commandant, EME School, marking the beginning of a 1,250-km journey aimed at connecting with the youth and showcasing the technological transformation taking place in the Indian Army.
A spirited team of 12 riders from the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) is undertaking the expedition, which will traverse multiple cities across western and northern India. The expedition will cover approximately 1,250 km, passing through Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur, before culminating in New Delhi.
The initiative seeks to highlight the evolving technological capabilities of the Indian Army and the critical role played by the Corps of EME in supporting military equipment, systems and technological transformation. Through interactions with youth along the route, the expedition will also provide an opportunity to create greater awareness about technology, innovation, service and career opportunities in the Armed Forces.
The motorcycle expedition combines the spirit of adventure with a message of technological advancement, youth engagement and national service. The riders will carry this message across cities, engaging with communities and inspiring young Indians to learn more about the Army’s evolving technological ecosystem. The “Ride with Pride” expedition reflects the Corps of EME’s commitment to embracing technological transformation while strengthening its connect with the nation’s youth.
