New all-electric Cayenne introduced in two variants, with the Cayenne Turbo Electric priced at ₹2.27 crore; customer deliveries begin September 30
Mumbai : Porsche India has launched the new Cayenne Electric, marking the arrival of an all-electric version of one of the brand’s most established model lines in the Indian market. The new model expands Porsche’s electric vehicle portfolio while retaining the versatility, everyday usability and performance associated with the Cayenne.
The new Cayenne Electric is being introduced in India in two variants – Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. Prices start at ₹1,77,27,000 for the Cayenne Electric, while the Cayenne Turbo Electric is priced at ₹2,27,51,000. Customer deliveries commence from September 30, coinciding with the model’s official launch in Mumbai.
With the introduction of the Cayenne Electric, Porsche brings all-electric mobility to its Cayenne range while continuing to offer customers a choice of powertrain technologies. The company has confirmed that petrol-powered Cayenne variants will continue to be sold into the next decade.
“The Cayenne enters an important new era with electrification, combining uncompromising Porsche performance with electric mobility while remaining unmistakably Porsche,” said Ashutosh Dixit, Head of Porsche India.
“It continues to offer the everyday usability our customers expect from the Cayenne, together with the performance, engineering and driving experience that define our sports cars. Its introduction marks an important next chapter for Porsche in India as we continue to broaden the choices available to our customers,” he added.
The Cayenne Electric combines an all-electric powertrain with Porsche’s focus on performance and driving dynamics, offering customers a new interpretation of the Cayenne experience. The introduction of the higher-performance Cayenne Turbo Electric alongside the standard Cayenne Electric further expands the choice available within the electric Cayenne range.
The launch strengthens Porsche India’s growing electric vehicle portfolio and gives customers an additional fully electric option alongside the brand’s existing range of models. The new Cayenne Electric was unveiled to Indian media and customers at an event in Mumbai, with deliveries beginning on the same day. With its combination of electric mobility, performance and everyday usability, the new model marks another step in the evolution of the Cayenne nameplate in India.
